Sergeant Fowler was injured when his motorcycle fell onto of him. Sergeant Fowler had pulled away on his motorcycle without kicking up his kick stand. When Sergeant Fowler turned the kick stand caught in the street car tracks in the street causing him to fall from the motorcycle. The motorcycle landed on top of Sergeant Fowler, fracturing his skull. Sergeant fowler died two days later from the injury.
