Patrolman Tennyson was shot and killed by the notorious gangster, Earl David
Bircham, when he interrupted a robbery at 2115 hours. Patrolman Tennyson had
stopped by a downtown restaurant to see his wife when the incident occurred.
Patrolman Tennyson had been with the agency for seven years and was survived
by his wife.
