Why We Are Different
No one knows better the tribulations of a police officer than their families and close friends. We support police activities and functions to adopt causes and activities that support the community as a whole. We network with other state and local auxiliaries for ideas on new programs and different forms of assistance to help one another or maybe just come together as friends. We act as a vital link between police officers and the community. If the Auxiliary can do something today to help one child or family maybe there would be less violence and conflict, maybe, just maybe, we could help save the life of one officer. The Auxiliary can lend so much to the F.O.P. and the community, there is much out there, so much good we can do, it’s beyond time for us to come together and get involved.
We must always remember the first word of F.O.P is Fraternal. We need to keep the spirit of fraternalism and always be reminded of its significance. We are one and we must strive to do the work as described to the Order by the Constitution nothing less but always something more. |
